My apples account is not recognizing my iphone4 when I try to sync. I have also been unable to update my iphone4 to ios5 because of this. When I purchase iTunes songs on my iPhone, the cloud automatically transfers them to my iPad, however, when I purchase on my iPad, they are not being transferred to my iPhone. When I sign into my apple acct on my computer it is just recognizing my computer

Do you happen to have iCloud? Try to delete it. Reset your network settings. If still it won't work, try to uninstall your iTunes and re-install it. Regarding your Apples account, please contact Apple regarding this and ask for a suggestion they could recommend you. Try to not sync your phone and your iPad together. It sometimes causes problems. If still the problem exists, ask an Apple product expert nearby to help you out.Â
