I am using MobileMe before then decided to upgrade to iCloud. The two has many similar features. But I noticed that the content, events, special dates and occasions on my iCal is missing. I need to recover my iCal because I have some important dates and events to remember. Is it possible? Please help.

Upgrading to iCloud wipes my iCal
Hi Evan,
If you have your Time Machine backup before you upgrade or use iCloud, you can still get it back. First, you should find the old calendar you make in Time Machine, it is located at (<drive name>/Users/<username>) and go to Library/Calendars. After that, create a new Calendar in iCal. To do that, go to File>>New>>Calendar>>On My Mac and name your calendar any name you want. Next thing to do is set your calendar you made as a Default Calendar. Go to iCal>>Preferences >>General>>Default Calendar. Export the On My Mac calendar you made to your desktop. Then set the iCloud calendar as your default calendar. Import the exported calendar now into the iCould Calendar. Just go to File>>Import>>Import, locate the calendar file we exported and import it. Done. If you don't have any backup of your calendar before you use iCloud or before it gone, you can't get it back unless you have a backup. Hope this can help.
