UPS Continues to alarm and displays Battery test Failed

We have a two APC Smart-UPS RT 2000 VA 230V inside the data center both units continue to alarm and displays the message " battery test failed". I tried to reboot the unit but same error occurs. Is there a problem with the Battery? Please advise on how we can resolve this issue because our servers are connected to it.

UPS Continues to alarm and displays Battery test Failed

Paul,

If the same batteries have been in use for more than 15 to 18 months this is an indicator that some of the batteries reached  their end of life. If this is a server I guess is connected always. It is better to contact your supplier and replaced them as soon as possible.
