Upsizing A Microsoft access database to SQL server requirements

I want to  upsize the database I'm using from the original design of Microsoft Access database to SQL server model because of the expandability of my work and access cannot therefore be a good option for me, to make my database distributed and work with it in the server to client environment.

What requirements do I need to accomplish this?

Hello there!

Upsizing is the process of moving some or all database objects from an Access database to a new or existing Microsoft SQL Server database. You can use the Upsizing Wizard to upsize all databases objects from an Access database to an Access project or to upsize only data or data definitions from an Access database to a Microsoft SQL Server.

Before you start upsizing, consider backing up your database and ensure that you have adequate disk space.

The Access 2007 Upsizing Wizard is optimized to work with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Good Luck!
