Urgent need for a Mac program to transform PDF to txt.

Hello Experts, one of my friends finding any way to use mac program to transform pdf to txt. He will use the converted txt program on his windows Laptop. Please suggest any tips for that.

Urgent need for a Mac program to transform PDF to txt.

There is an application called Automator placed under utilities folder. Launch it.

• Choose Workflow
• Drag your PDF to workflow window and drop there
• Find the search bar in the Automator window. Start typing 'Extract PDF text' Once you find this option, click the play button to begin your conversion process. It will take few seconds and now you can save the text to a location.
