I have a postpaid plan with AIS, and I also pay an extra for data connection. My cell phone is Nokia E71. My question is, is it possible to use the internet connection in my phone and connect it with my laptop so that I can still access internet on rural areas? My laptop model is Sony Vaio 125FH with an OS of Windows 7 Enterprise.

Usage of Internet on Cell Phone and Laptop
Hello Barry,
For sure you can do that; I myself do that all the time. As long as your phone has Bluetooth connectivity and your laptop too, then you can create a dial up network to be able to surf from the laptop using your phone as a modem. Use the following simple procedure:
-
Use your laptop to search for the Bluetooth devices within range. It should find your phone, and then add it to the list of paired devices.
-
Thereafter look for the paired devices under Bluetooth connection in network and sharing center. With the Bluetooth of the phone and the laptop turned on, right click on the name of the phone under the paired devices and then choose dial network connection and then dial Bluetooth connection. Use *99# as the number to dial, and for the name give your mobile internet subscriber's name.
-
This should help you connect to the internet.
Hope this helps.
