Since there is a lot of conversation about having a type C USB, so I was wondering If someone could explain to me the actual difference between an ordinary USB and Type C cable?

The main difference is the shape of its ends.
The usual USB cable can be connected in one way while Type C can be connected in both the ways making it convenient for normal usage.
Everyone nowadays wants to upgrade their USB to Type C is because of the speed at which it transfer files and the other reason for it is an unnecessary trend.
Since this is at its early stage, there might be a situation where you may not find a Type C USB for charging your phone if you forget to carry it with you.
