I'm trying to recover my data from a crashed hard disk.

What is the work of the hard disk index table recovery partition and how does it affect the whole recovery process?

Hello,

There are a lot of tools for recovering data from your hard disk. If your data is deleted and you want to recover it then you can use Recuva. It's made by the creators of CCleaner. Recuva is a free application which does its task very well, it can recover all kinds of data including photos, videos, documents etc.

But if your hard drive is not working, then it would be best to handle that work to professional person so you can be sure that your data won't be lost.
