Can we use MS Office 365 locally without having internet connection? What are the major differences between different plans of MS Office 365? What all issues related to MS Office would get solved for Business?

Use of MS Office 365 locally without having internet connection

Hello Lvvah,

You can use some of the ms 365 features offline without the need to having internet connection but not the whole package entirely. Some features are meant to be used online like Microsoft exchange online which allows you to use the email service, and to send and receive emails on the web requires that you have an internet connection.

The Microsoft lynch online features is also another one that will require you to be online so as to use its services which include instant messaging, video conferencing and using the PC to make calls to other people who are connected to the internet. You will also need internet connection to use the lync online VOIP features.

But a feature that I think will not need you to be connected to the internet is office professional plus feature, which you can use like the ms office that you manually install.
