User account control pop up gets when opening my chrome browser.

Hi experts,

I am using Windows 7 operating system. I have Google Chrome browser. The problem is that when I open my browser it pops up with User account control with 'Yes or No' option. Can anyone help to stop this pop up, please ?

User account control pop up gets when opening my chrome browser.

Hi Mr. James,

I understand. You chrome browser is opening under administrative privileges. If you are not interested to get such pop up, please follow the below steps.

1. Right click on your desktop Google Chrome browser.

2. Go to the properties tab and click on it.

3. Click on shortcut tab.

4. Click on Advanced option.

5. Please unchecked the  'Run as administrator' box.

6. Click OK.

7. Apply and OK.

Dear James Wilsonjr,

Actually User Account Control helps you to defend your PC from intruders and malicious software. When a program wants to make a major change to your computer User Account Control helps you to know and ask for permission. If you have administrator privileges on your PC you can change User Account Control notification settings in control panel.
