How can Shader printer use heat-sensitive 'paint' with low temperature? Is there anyone who can describe it in detail? Thanks in advance.

Uses of Shader Printer’s heat-sensitivity

Hallo Saarah,

The Shader Printer, which is a prototype device uses a laser to heat a surface that is coated with a bi-stable color-changing material. This is usually done at a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius or 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

When the laser reaches the "ink," it comes up with a visible design which can then be done away with by leaving the object in temperature that is 10 degree Celsius overnight.

What the laser freezer will do at that point is simply apply standard heat as well as cold so that to allow you to theoretically add as well as remove designs using any source.

Hope this helps.
