Using BBM through Wifi connection

BBM is an instant messaging application for Blackberry smartphone. It also allows you to share application activities to your BBM profile and chat with BBM friends within your application. I wonder why can’t we use BBM on Wifi and what solution can be given especially if going to use for roaming?

Using BBM through Wifi connection

Hi,

Basically, you can use you BBM and all the built-in application (BBM, MSN, twitter, Email, and Facebook) with Wi-Fi, the only one mandatory condition is that you have a valid data plan or data subscription with you provider.

There are some posts on internet saying that you can use BBM with Wi-Fi without subscribing to a data plan, they proposed to hold you mobile in a certain manner and type some particular code but they are not verified. There are other methods like:
Subscribe for 01 Day then connect to BBM, once connected switch to Wi-Fi and turn off Network, when the subscription is over, you will still be able to use BBM with Wi-Fi.

Now, if have a data plan and you don’t want to have charge for Roaming, just turn off you Network and use Wi-Fi
