Using Laptop without a battery

Hi! I was using my laptop and it got overheated, it always is showing this problem after I use it for a longer period of time. So it was continuously shutting down automatically. So I plugged out the battery and started using it on direct electricity and obviously it works. But is it safe to use laptop like this on regular basis or should I make sure that I use it through the battery?

Hello Christian,

It definitely is. It is always the ideal scenario to remove the battery if you're going to use your laptop while plugged-in. You could pro-long your battery life by doing that. Another tip regarding the overheating issue, try to observe if it really is the battery. In most cases, processors are the ones heating.
