Good day.
Can you please help me with my problem.
I would like to take value from a sheet and create an index based a table of contents. I have an imported table of contents that listed with multiple departments and their page numbers in column A and B are.
Department – Page
Finance – 1
Finance – 2
Finance – 3
Finance – 25
Finance – 60
I want to return only one department from multiple pages just as an index work.
Department Page
Finance 1,3, 25, 60

Using Lotus Notes Problem and Clarification
You can only do this if the field is allowed to save more than 2 values in it.
Therefore first you must have to see if it is really possible in your situation.
The values that you are trying to save our the comma separated values like for 1 finance department the pages are more than 1.
So you can perform the following steps to achieve a good idea on how to tackle it.

Make a table with the department information in it.

Now make a second table with the pages and department numbers on each page.

Make a joint in between these two tables.

Display them by using SELECT from departments,pages and select the required department and page to be displayed.
