Hello!

I want to know Vantec External 7.1 sound card? What are the specifications of this device? What are the benefits of using it? What do you mean by full-duplex playback? How fast C-media CM6206 is? What are the system requirements? How many port are included in this device? What is the information behind 5.1 and 7.1 channels? Please enlighten me with this. What are the required ports to connect this device to computer? What are the ports available for connection for other devices? Please help, thank you!

Vantec USB External 7.1 Channel External Sound Card

Here are the specifications of Vantec External 7.1 sound card.

1.   USB connection

2.   Headphone

3.   Line-in

4.   Center and Bass connection, Back Speakers, Surround speakers, and Front speaker.

5.   SPDIF in and out

Full-Duplex Playback means that you can record and playback the recordings at the same time.

C-media CM6206 is doe include several ports like USB, mic-line in, 2 channel ADC input, 7.1 channel DAC, SPDIF out, Led indicator pins, supports 2-wire serial interface, and headphone output. Most of C-Media CM6206 device requires Windows 7 an latest Operating systems. The 5.1 means that it includes 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer, for 7.1 includes 7 speakers with 1 subwoofer. 5.1 Channel is the most commonly used layout for cinema and home theater systems. The ports only available in our computer is the green port. This is the typical main output for sound.
