Hey everyone,
I’m dealing with a rather strange problem using my Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. I’ve recorded a video, but I am not able to import it within Vegas.
The file is HQ meant for YouTube, and I’m not sure what could be causing this type of behavior.
The error I’m getting is this:
Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0
An error occurred during the current operation.
An Exception has occurred.
Thank you in advance for any info provided.
Vegas Movie Studio 9 error
You Sony Vegas Pro might not be able to read it because of Codec problems. You said that it is in HQ so it probably needs a Codec. Now you can either choose one or install both Codecs on your computer but I prefer to install both Codecs.
Combined Community Codec Pack.
It is free to download and searchable on the internet. Just Google it and the result at the top is where you can download it. It also installs Media Player Classic on your computer and I use this to watch different video format, even FLV extensions.
DivXÂ Codec.
This is the one that your Sony Vegas requires to read the file. Search also the internet for this Codec and it is also free to download.
You also said that you need to import a particular video then you will need to render it as well. You will need this software to make a successful render of your video file. Good thing that an error has occurred for you or else you wouldn't know this.
