Hi Experts,
I recently reformatted my computer. After the full installation I started installing all the drivers needed for my hardware. Everything was installed, but then when I checked my "Device Manager" there was a warning symbol on my video controller.
I then checked my Video Card driver and saw that it was installed correctly. I tried to update the video controller driver via Driver Detective and Windows 7 Driver Update.
How can I fix this problem?

Video Card Controller Driver Missing (Warning Symbol)
Mark,
the video card driver problem are mainly  a result of the following;
first, your hardware(monitor) drivers may be missing, corrupt or even improperly installed on your computer.
Second, the hardware itself may be faulty or not installed correctly on your computer. So Mark, the first solution to your problem is to try to uninstall and reinstall your hardware and its corresponding drivers. Check if the disk from which you installed your video drivers is not faulty, and if found faulty then, you will have to acquire another disk or download the software from the Internet.
You may also visit Microsoft support Centre and search for, 'windows Aero troubleshooter'. Click on the icon and run it. It will automatically update your video card drivers.
Wish you luck.
Video Card Controller Driver Missing (Warning Symbol)
If you see a warning symbol on your display adapter in the Device Manager, there must be something wrong with the video card driver. If you are using the built-in video card from your motherboard, visit your motherboard’s manufacturer website and download all the drivers needed by your board. If you don’t know the website, you can find the website printed directly on your motherboard.
So, just shut down your computer and open your CPU case and you should be able to see the URL printed on the motherboard. Open your web browser and visit that website. Enter the model number of your motherboard to find your product. When downloading the drivers, make sure you select your correct operating system.
On the other hand, if you have a dedicated video card, try updating to the latest driver. If you have an ASUS video card, head down to ASUS Support. If you have an NVIDIA video card, go to NVIDIA Driver Downloads. If you have an AMD video card, visit AMD Graphics Drivers and Software.
If you have a Matrox video card, go to Matrox Driver and Software Download.
