Viruses on mobile phones- is an antivirus necessary

Are viruses menace really present on mobiles? How can my phone be contaminated by a virus? Recently I download a mobile antivirus from Avira. After a few days of usage, I experienced a huge decrease in the performance of my mobile. How can a mobile application affect processing speed? Are mobile Antiviruses necessary?

Hello

 I do not think that antivirus affects processing speed of mobile. According to antivirus test and their engineers device performance test in: Battery life and Processing speed.

 

 

 

 

 

Above the figure it shows that antivirus doesn't affect battery life, The app doesn't slow down the device during normal usage. And app doesn't generate too much traffic.Hopefully

you convinced that there is nothing problem with installing antivirus application in mobile.
