Visio 2007 crashes when closed

Visio 2007 on Windows Vista crashes when it is closed. Sometimes, it gets closed on Windows Vista correctly, but the visio.exe process continues to run in the Task Manager. Tried Repairing Office Application, but the Issue Resurfaces.  Please advice.

Visio 2007 crashes when closed

Hello Markus

This behaviour might occur when add-ins are enabled in Visio. To disable add-ins in Visio 2007:

1. Open Visio 2007.
2. From the Tools menu, select Trust Center.
3. Click Add-ins.
4. In the Manage list, clickCOM Add-ins, and then clickGo.
5. Uncheck all the add-ins in the Add-Ins available list.
6. Click OK.

Visio 2007 crashes when closed

Hi there: it seems like the add-in/add-on issue. There are some add-ons installed that are causing this crash of visio. Please try this: Go to tools àtrust centre àAdd-ins and then check the box next to “Disable all application add-ins” . Stop and re-launch visio. It should be fine. Hope that was helpful .
