Hello people,
I am posting here the problem I encountered when I tried to open the Visual Basic Editor in a Microsoft Access database.
The Visual Basic for Applications project in the database is corrupt.
I haven't experienced this error message ever since. That is why I'm having a hard time solving this issue. Please help me fix my file if indeed it is corrupted.Â
Is there any chance to get back my file?
I am very worried about this error that I met.
Please share your thoughts on my problem.
Thanks.Â

The Visual Basic for Application project in the database is corrupt.
If you are using Microsoft Access 2002, it is possible that the database you are trying to open was compiled using a higher version of Microsoft Access. To resolve the issue, try to update Access 2002 to Microsoft Access 2002 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or better yet upgrade your version of Microsoft Access to the current one, then try to open this database.
But then if you are using other Microsoft Access versions, what you can do is try to uninstall the software and re-install it again. Afterwards, you can try to open the file and see if it solves the problem.
