Vizio Smart TV Will Not Stream Netflix

I have a Vizio 40 inch smart tv that was working great. Now when I am streaming Netfix that tv will completely shut down each time.  It seems to be only when using Netflix? Is this a tv problem or Netflix? Or is this a router issue with my internet?

Vizio Smart TV Will Not Stream Netflix

Hi Stephen,

 

It looks like the issue is not with your router. First, make sure that the software on the Vizio TV is up-to-date. There might be some compatibility issues between Netflix and the existing software for which an update would have been provided. Remove the Netflix app and add it again. Netflix should work fine after the software update.
