VLC player Entry Point Not Found
Hi,
In your question, you haven't mentioned the version of the VLC player that you are using.
Things you can do to fix this problem are:
-
Check if you have completely installed your VLC player. If not, then re-install it.
-
If installation is complete and the error still occurs, then check your system registry. It might be that your registry is damaged. Try to clean your registry. You can use some registry cleaner softwares you can download (google it).
-
Try to install VLC Media Player 0.9.3/0.9.4.

Seems like your VLC media player has a problem with one of its DLL files the “libvlccore.dll” file. This DLL file is located in VLC media player’s installation folder which is “C:Program FilesVideoLANVLC”. If the file is in error, it means VLC media player cannot access it because it is damaged or corrupt. To fix the problem, just reinstall VLC media player if you still have its installer.
Or just download and install the latest version from Download VLC. If you already uninstalled and reinstalled VLC media player and it still doesn’t work, there are probably some leftovers that cause the program to fail. Before installing the latest version, download Revo Uninstaller Freeware and unpack the file with 7-Zip. Use the supplied password to unpack.
Next, install Revo Uninstaller and use it to uninstall VLC media player. After removing VLC media player, go to CCleaner Free Download then download and install the latest CCleaner. Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system. Restart your computer afterwards. After this, install the latest version of VLC media player and see if this works. To register CCleaner, download CCleaner Registration Codes.
Use the supplied password to unpack. Open “license-keys_readme.txt” with Notepad and follow the instructions to register CCleaner.
