VMware Error: Unable to connect to the MKS

Hi to all,

I am experiencing some difficulties during the installation of windows XP virtual machine.

Each time I start the installation, I am met with an error.

The screenshot of the error is as follows:

The error reads as:

 

VMware Remote Console

 

Unable to connect to the MKS: Cannot connect to host: An existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host

 

I am actually using an IBM lotus foundation server. Your suggestions are required to solve the issue.

VMware Error: Unable to connect to the MKS

Hi Buddy,

This problem can be resolves by trying from the remote connection, connect remotely and not in local mode. The problem might be resolved by this. For another way, if you have a back up files of the work or it is not that much completed, restart VMware Services for appropriate action. If the configured file is corrupted, create another VM by using an existing Virtual disk.
