VMware ESX 4.0 Host not accessible?
Host ESX 4.0 or 4.1i
It will fix on ESX host, first login as root account on host
Before it Power off all Virtual machine running on this host remotely.
Press F2 two times to customize the host and enter Password for root account. Press enter.
Select reset system configuration in bottom of left hand row. And finishes it and restart host
After restart successfully add now host on New VCenter server. It will Ask for user, provide root account and password.
After successful the above activity you can manage the host through VCenter.
Cheer you have fix the host Locked issue.
