VMware Workstation error occurred after upgrading the Virtual Machine

Hello,

I just upgraded my Virtual Machine but got this weird error message while powering on VMware Workstation. Now I am unable to on this VMware and giving me the error “The VMware Authorization Service is not running”. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

VMware Workstation

Transport (VMDB) error -44: Message.

The VMware Authorization Service is not running.

VMware Workstation error occurred after upgrading the Virtual Machine

You need to repair the VMware installation. This can be done by clicking the executable on your VMware installation file and choose the repair option. This will fix all the services and start them correctly.
