Hi experts,

Why am I getting this following error message when I try to connect to a Microsoft Windows 2000 computer over the network? Is there a server problem or something else? I really need your assistance. I have searched online for a solution. I need your suggestion. Please help me. Thanks for any assistance.

Try the following workarounds:

1. Start or restart the Server Service on the computer that you wish to virtualize.

2. From the computer that you wish to virtualize, run the DOS prompt and then type "net share". Search for the ADMIN$ from the list of the result. If you cannot find it, you will need to alter this key. Make a DWORD if it's not there and give a value of "1".

Check the net share again Admin share is already created.

3. Disable file sharing and the SIMPLE File sharing.

4. Utilize the local admin credentials instead of the network admin credentials.

5. Utilize the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) and ensure that the ADMIN$ share does exists.
