Waking An Old Laptop Out of Hibernation Mode

Hello,

I have an 8 year old Toshiba laptop that I accidently put into hibernation mode and now I can’t start it. How do I wake it up?

Waking An Old Laptop Out of Hibernation Mode

Try to turn it off. If that doesn't work unplug it for about a minute. When you finally get it up and running, go to control panel – power options – the hibernate tab all the way to the right, and make sure "enable hibernate" doesn't have a check mark next to it. That way it won't go into hibernation again.
