I am looking for a long list of 8bit games for PC and their download links. I am building a meta search engine for 8bit games for PC and consoles and need a list of games.

There are lots of sites out there that offer good sources for 8bit games. So far, one of the best I saw was this:

It offers loads and retro games, plus it even provides you with tips and sources on how you can run them on the new PCs. In most cases, old games can be made to run on modern PCs either by using emulators or by downloading the so-called “remakes’ – games that were created by a programmer that appear to look the same as the old games, but designed to work on new PCs.

The link I provided also provides other links to other useful sources; therefore it’s a good place to start sourcing the games that you are looking for.
