Want to know the compatibility of alps alps touch pad software

Hi there

I want to use a touch pad as a primary input device. My operating system is Windows 7 x86. Can I get an alps alps touch pad software for driving the touch pad. Is the alps alps touch pad driver compatible with my os or not. If anyone knows I would be grateful.

Yes you can use it in your operating system. In case if you have any problem after the installation, you just have to update the driver. You can update the driver if needed from the manufacturer's website.The latest supported driver is windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit.

Hi,

Yes Brant, you can use that software for the touch pad. Not only this you can also use this in windows 8.
To make sure that your ALPS Touchpadis compatible with this new driver for Windows 7, be sure that before upgrading, in Windows 7 open Device Manager, check the "Mice and other pointing devices" category and you Touchpad should be listed as "ALPS Pointing-device".
