Want to learn about the Software Protection Service.

A feature that manages the digital licenses (for Windows and its applications) is known as Microsoft Software Protection Service. The File that runs the program is Sppsvc.exe (do not threaten the system). A Microsoft program that allows us to download, enforce, and install (of digital licenses) for Windows is known as Software Protection Service. This Windows service randomly checks that the system is using a registered version of Windows or not. If this service stopped then, the operating system, along with some applications (licensed), starts running in a notification mode. Make sure that, Software Protection Service should not be disabled.
