Was Toshiba laptop radar for win7 a built in software?

Hi,

I am a little bit confuse about toshiba laptop radar, is it a built in software or a software that is need to be downloaded in the internet and to be installed in the laptop? And how can it affect my windows 7 operating system?

Hi,

The Toshiba laptop radar is built in software. It is pre installed on all Toshiba satellite notebooks. The radar detects all the Wi-Fi spots in the vicinity so that you can be connected to the network constantly. If you move to a new place then you just start the radar and a list of the available Wi-Fi hotspots will be displayed to you. You can then connect to any one hotspot.

The laptop radar is a pre installed software. However, if you removed it by mistake, you can download it an install it again on your notebook. It is not compatible with all the Toshiba notebooks. It works only with specific models of Toshiba satellite notebooks. You can download it here – https://support.toshiba.com/. Click the download button and then run the setup file from the desktop.
