I want to check permissions on folders and files in my Windows PC running Windows 7. If anyone of you knows how to do it, guys please help me and tell me how to do it. Thank you.

Ways To Check Permissions On Folders Listed

If you want to check effective permission on folders-

1. Go to the particular file or the folder that you need to check permission in Windows explorer
2. Right click and go to properties and then security
3. Proceed to advanced and then effective permissions
4. Chick on select and then enter the user name or group and then click ok
5. It will depict the permission for that particular user.
