Webpage Error when no browser is running Access is denied

Hello tech savvy,

When I try to access a webpage, I got this weird error message. The error says “error: error: Access is denied”. I did not get much information from the error message. How do I solve this error without any further information? Please help. Thanks for your help.

That’s really weird. I never encountered that error yet when opening a website. Normally, if you access a website or a specific link or URL and only authorized users are allowed on that page, you will see a blank page displaying an error saying that you are not allowed to access the site but not that kind of error. Try opening other websites and see if you get the same dialog box.

If there is a problem in your internet connection, it will also display a different error. If you can’t seem to open any website because the same dialog box appears, try using a different web browser. If the problem is with your web browser, using a different web browser should fix the problem. If opening a website is successful on the other browser then there is something wrong with your browser.

Check your faulty browser if you installed a plug-in that might cause the problem. Most of the time, issues on the web browsers are caused by plug-ins. Uninstall or remove the plug-in that you think is causing the problem. If you can’t decide which plug-in to remove, just reinstall your web browser.
