Website not found even if internet is available

The internet is connected, its working fine in another home group computer. But in my computer it says website not found. Even in my computer the antivirus is updating it self . That means the computer is connected but why i cannot browsing?

Please help.

Website not found even if internet is available

When browsing the Internet and you've get a message says error Not Found, then the problem might be is the settings or the Internet connection.

When Anti-Virus is updating, this doesn't guarantee that the Internet is working. The program might be posing that it's updating but it's the virus infection itself is doing it.

But it's good thing that you posted that the Internet is working because of the software updates. So, you can look and further check the browser settings.

Go to Tools, Options, Advanced, Network. Use a proxy should be disabled. Use a proxy server should be selected, and manual proxy should be not be selected,  the security software has to be disabled, specially the Firewall.

Hi!

First of all check your IP address it may be duplicate of another on your home group. Secondly, try to browse some sites which are on the different server locations or on different regions. Further, try to use another browser to locate those web pages. If it does not work restart your computer after changing the network configurations.
