Hi,
My computer has Fedora2 and my hard disk is 10 Gigabytes with an extra 160GB drive. The drive has some folders which are public and I can copy files onto it. However, I am not able to copy, create, delete or rename any folders but can do these on single files. The error I get is “device I/O error”. Please advice.

Hallo Jenny,
You are saying that your computer has a hard disk of 10 GB with an extra 160 GB drive. I hope that the 10 gb space is not the one that hold the primary operating because that is too small and it can make your computer extremely slow.
Go to the control panel and then choose performance and maintenance.
Choose the system tab and then click device manager.
Look for the device/drive that is displaying an error, if it is disabled it then enable it by going to the general table and then clicking enable device.
This should help fix the problem.
