Here are the drive specifications for Western Digital VelociRaptor 1 TB hard drive:

• Form Factor – 3.5 inch

• Cache – 64 MB

For the 1 TB capacities, there are only two models available: the Western Digital WD1000DHTZ, and the Western Digital WD1000CHTZ. Both models almost have the same specifications. The only difference is with model WD1000CHTZ which has a much smaller form factor, 2.5 inch. The Western Digital VelociRaptor series is available in 6 different models: WD1000DHTZ, WD5000HHTZ, WD2500HHTZ, WD1000CHTZ, WD5000BHTZ, and WD2500BHTZ.

All 6 models have the same specifications. They only differ in the Form Factor and capacity. Models WD1000DHTZ, WD5000HHTZ, and WD2500HHTZ have 3.5 inch form factor while models WD1000CHTZ, WD5000BHTZ, and WD2500BHTZ have 2.5 inch form factor. The following lists the models’ specific capacities:
