Gee, that's a tough question as so many gadgets came out this year. Here's what I think are the hottest gadgets that were released this year:

IPhone 4 and iPhone 5. These phones changed the mobile phone market when the original iPhone came out years ago. Up to now, these are still must-have phones for mobile phone freaks.

IPad and iPad 2. Another game changer from Apple but this time in the mobile computing market. Though its terribly unnecessary to own one if you already have a laptop, there's still a lot of gadget lovers craving for these.

Android tablet PCs. With the popularity of the iPad, tablet PCs running on Android grew in popularity as well.

Nintendo 3DS. 3D games in a handheld.

Sony PSP Phone. Although it wasn't as hot as people anticipated, its still a pretty cool gadget for gamers on the go.
