AGP stands for Accelerated Graphics Port. It is the modern version of PCs. For different as you need to use it. Now-a-days AGP is known as PCI expresses Graphics Card. In the modern PCI graphics card there is a VGA (Video Graphics Adapter) port and a DVI port. Many monitors use the DVI port. AGP is used for many reasons.

Accelerated Graphic Port was the first advancement of the Video Graphic Array or the VGA video technology. AGP video cards started to have higher memory from 1 Mb and higher. This will allow computer users to load videos more accurate and smooth. High resolution games required to have an AGP video card in order to make the games run smooth and fast.
