Hi everyone,

I transferred from PC to MAC and I just realized how would I edit my files made in Microsoft Visio.

I searched for possibility of installing ms Visio on mac but I am not getting a positive result.

Can someone suggest an alternative solution that I could edit my files in made in Visio while continuing to use MAC.

Office For Mac only includes Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Visio is not available for Mac OS. However, there are some alternatives that will read Visio on Mac OS X*: http://www.macmaps.com/crossplatform.html. Also read http://www.visioformac.com/.

1. You can try something called Lucidchart. It is a design diagram tool. You can subscribe for Lucidchart at $9.95 / month for personal use and $2.00-$5.00 user / month for team use.

2. Also, you can use OmniGraffle for Mac. It has features similar to MS Visio and works well with  Mac. It is available for download from Mac Apple Store. The trial mode is available for 14 days without a license. Upon expiry you will have to purchase a license version from the App Store. Mac OS X v10.6.8 or higher version should be available for installation of OmniGraffle.
