What are the factors that affect SEO? 

There are some instances that we have to deal with SEO, can you give me some overview or insights regarding the factors that may affect the internet world dealing with SEO?

I have to get some information for my case study.

Hi Lynn,

SEO stand for Search Engine Optimization, as in other words it a technique through which you can promote your website or advertise it. There are numerous ways which would help you to promote your website. Some of those are:

1. On-Page Optimization
2. Off-Page Optimization

On-Page optimization is a method which is done on the website for which we are doing SEO. It generally includes development of Meta tags. Yes, this part of HTML includes keywords for your website.

Second, Off-Page Optimization is a method which includes back linking for your website. Getting back links for your website might can be done with several methods, as some of these are:

• Bookmarking
• Directory submission
• Blog posting
• Questions Answers
• Forum posting
• Press release
• Article Submission

These all above methods help you to get back links for your website yet there are some other ways, except these.
