What are the ports available in PS4

These are the available ports on PS4 :
1. BD/DVD drive (read only with BD x 6 CAV, DVD x 8 CAV, Blu-ray and DVD playback)
2. Super-Speed USBx (USB 3.0) port x2 (external storage)
3. AUX port x1
4. Ethernet port (For your lan/internet connection)
5. HDMI output (720p, 1080p and 1080i)

What are the ports available in PS4

There are three types of port that is available on the new PS4. These are HDMI, Optical Audio and Ethernet.

 

1. The HDMI port allows the use the HDMI cable that makes transfer of uncompressed video data and compressed and uncompressed audio data to computer monitor, video monitor, digital television  or other visual output.

2. The Optical Audio port is for the optical audio cable which is the equivalent of the HDMI cable but is solely for audio transmission.

3. Ethernet port is for Ethernet cables that enable the creation of a network of computers in a given Local Area Network.
