I was launching an application on my PC and I got an error code 10 saying that This device could not start. how to fix code 10 error in Windows any help would be much appreciated.

The error code 10 shows that your application and the hardware of your computer are unable to communicate during execution.

Try these steps to resolve error code 10

Go to Device Manager and select the device name as shown in the error

Right click and select update drivers.

Select the latest drivers and click ok.

Restart your computer.

You can also try the second method:

Open Advance System setting from Control Panel and go to Environment Variables Choose temp in the variable name and clear the other text present. Click ok and save the changes.
