Hi, Don’t be frustrated. That’s a common difficulty we tend to face when we begin to learn something new. Here I have provided some shortcut keys; since there are a lot of shortcut keys in use and as you have mentioned yourself a novice I guess you should practice this first and later you can learn a little more. Initially, it may be confusing which key is for which action, but once you practice it will become more familiar.
Basics: Advanced:
Ctrl + A – Select all Ctrl + K – Insert a hyperlink
Ctrl + B – Apply/Remove BOLD Alt + F + A – Save the document as
Ctrl + C – Copy the passage Ctrl + Shift + A – Convert the
Ctrl + W – Close the current document selected text into capitals
Ctrl + X – Cut the passage Alt + Left – Pointer goes to the previous page
Ctrl + V – Paste the cut/copied Passage Alt + Right – Pointer goes to the next page
Ctrl + Z – Undo the last action Alt + W + F – To use in full screen mode
Ctrl + Y – Redo the last action Alt + F + X – To close/exit the word
Ctrl + S – Save the document
Ctrl + U – Underline the text/passage
Ctrl + I – Convert to Italic
Ctrl + O – Open a document
Ctrl + P – Print a document
