a. Insert your USB drive in the PC port.
b. Press Windows + R.
c. Type cmd admin and press enter.
d. In the command prompt admin, type diskpart.
e. Press enter.
f. Type list disk in the command prompt and press enter. Note the drive number of your USB.
g. Type select disk <your disk number> and press enter.
h. Type clean and press enter.
i. Type create partition primary and press enter.
j. Type select partition 1 and press enter.
k. Type format fs=ntfs quick and press enter.
l. Type active and press enter.
m. Type exit and press enter.
n. Prepare your recovery disk image using this USB drive.

a. Insert the drive that you have created in the system.
a. Press Windows + R.
b. Type cmd admin and press enter.
c. In the command prompt admin, type sfc /scannow, and press enter.
d. Wait for the process to complete.
