Hi to everyone,

What are those gho files android? I just heard about android Samsung mobile operating system and I saw some gho files. What is the main use or purpose of those gho files in an android operating system? I have to know some of the important information.

What are those gho files android?

The GHO file extension is used for Symantec ghost image files.  A GHO file is a copy/snapshot of your hardware/device.

It saves the device data as an exact copy, which can later be used to restore a file or the entire device.

In case your device fails, you or your repair shop can use the GHO to restore your device.

If you want to do the restoration yourself, then you have buy the Ghost Solution Suite from Symantec.

Hi!

It is a file extension used for Symantec ghost image file format.

GHO used earlier versions of Symantec's Norton Ghost.

It is a copy of the entire contents of a hard disk to another computer's hard disk.

Ghost is very useful where one system is to be replicated on a number of computers or when you wants to back up everything on their personal computer.

What are those gho files android?

The GHO file or the “.gho” extension is a file extension for a Symantec Ghost image file format. It is used by earlier versions of Norton Ghost by Symantec. The GHO file is a clone or a copy of a hard drive’s entire contents to a storage media or another computer’s hard drive.

The clone or image file includes the disk header information that is lost or discarded when you do a normal copy and paste. When a Ghost file is created, the process automatically partitions and formats the target disk. Norton Ghost is normally used when you need to replicate one system to a number of computers. It is also useful when you want to back up everything on your computer.
