What are the tools that can edit eps file format?

I have  files with an eps file extension. I have adobe illustrator that can edit these files but I am not knowledgeable on how this software works.

Does anyone knows other tools that could help me edit these files in a much convenient way?

Hello

You can use GIMP. It's Photoshop alternative and it's free. It is very powerful tools which have a lot of extensions which will help you to edit your eps files with no pain. It's very easy to learn since there is a ton of video tutorials on You Tube and Vimeo.

I will give you a link where you can download it, test it yourself and you'll see it's very easy.
