Before i goahead and buy Windows 8.1, i wanted to know all the issues we still have in this version of OS

Whats bad that could have been better

Hi Reaganoha,

The issues with Windows 8.1 are as listed below:
1) Windows 8.1 handles the games checks for the mouse status differently. It does not provide a flexible support to jump forward and backwards
2) The mouse movement is not to scale even after the acceleration is turned off
3) The gaming mouse provides low frequency  when tested against the game
4) The App store lacks some software for the gamers
5) The split between the tiles and the throwback desktop mode treats the entire desktop as one app
6) The Mail Client does not support POP Mail
7) It does not provide an explorer for modern UI
8) The system information like clock, battery level, WiFi connections status are hidden from the user
9) It leaves an artificial wall between the two versions of browser
10)The shutdown function is not easier to find in the system

1. Can't adjust screen brightness
2. HP Protect Tools incompatible with Windows 8.1
3. Windows 8.1 Secure Boot message
4. Drivers missing to Windows 8.1
5. Beats audio issues
6. IDT Audio issues
7. No HDMI Sound
8. Problems with Graphics
9. Blank screen
