Can anyone give or tell me what are the top 10 or mostly used CMS (Content Management System) today and their latest versions? I need to know what's best CMS to install for my school project in my I. T. course.

•  WordPress – Latest Stable Version (WordPress Version 3.4.2)
• Joomla – Latest Version (Joomla 3.0)
• Drupal – Latest Version (Drupal 7)
• SilverStripe – Latest Version (SilverStripe CMS v3.0.2)
• TextPattern – Latest Version (Version 4.5.1) 
• Concrete5 – Latest Version (Version 5.6.0.2)
• MODx – Latest Version (Version 2.2.4)
• RefineryCMS – Latest Version (Version 2.0.4)
• DotNetNuke – Latest Version (Version 6.2.2)
• Expression Engine – Latest Version (Version 2.1.2)

Well, I suggest you should use WordPress. Why? First, it's free/Open Source! the codes used to run wordpress is available to the public. Second, based on my experience, it's very easy to used. If you know how to edit MS Word documents, then I think you can update your content on your site. It has also a clean interface. Plus, it has a lot of plugins, your can customize your site which wherever you want.
