Voldemort is a system that is designed as an easy to divide and dispense in portions key-value storage system. The data is reproduced automatically over multiple servers in this system. This system more clearly handled the server failures than any other distributed key-value storage system. This system is still a developing system.

Voldermot is a distributed key-value storage system used for certain high-scalability storage problems where functional partitioning is not enough in development.

It has a lot of advantages including

1.  Data partitioning

2.   Easy to do unit testing

3.   Storage is fast

It also has several properties including.

1.    Data placement

2.    Data replication

3.    Data partitioning.

And many more as at now it is still in the development stage
