Spotify is a Swedish music streaming service offering digitally restricted streaming of selected music from a range of major independent record labels including Sony, EMI, and Universal. It is launched in October 2008 by a Swedish startup Spotify AB.

The system is currently accessible using Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Telia digital tv, Android, Blackberry, Windows mobile, Windows phone,Symbian 60, webOS, Squeezebox, Boxee, SOnos, WD TV and MeeGo.

In Spotify music can be browsed by artist, album, record label, genre or playlist as well as by direct searching. It has a 6 month trial period.

Spotify also include a Radio feature which can be free.

It has desktop version and also mobile versions.

This is why people are using Spotify although he or she has digital tv.
